Nascuy Linares es un reconocido músico y cineasta venezolano. Ha tenido una carrera prolífica como compositor, arreglista y músico para cine y televisión. Sus composiciones de música original han acompañado a prestigiosos filmes como “El abrazo de la serpiente” (Nominado al premio Oscar) de Ciro Guerra, “Tocar y Luchar” de Alberto Arvelo, “Maroa” de Solveig Hoogesteijn “Los Silencios” de Beatriz Seigner, “Luxor” de Zeina Durra, entre más de 40 títulos. Junto a la artista canadiense Loreena Mckennitt, compuso la banda sonora para la coproducción venezolano-española “Una casa con vista al mar” protagonizada por Imanol Arias. Ha sido ganador del premio Platino del Cine Iberoamericano a la mejor música original, y de la residencia artística para jóvenes compositores latinoamericanos en el Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (USA) otorgado por la fundación UNESCO-Aschberg. También ha colaborado con el maestro Gustavo Dudamel y la Filarmónica de Los Ángeles como editor de video y Stage Manager. Es licenciado en Medios Audiovisuales y posee una maestría en Post-Producción de la Universidad de Bournemouth en Inglaterra.

Together with the Canadian artist Loreena Mckennitt, he composed the soundtrack for the Venezuelan-Spanish co-production “Una casa con vista al mar” starring Imanol Arias. He has been the winner of the Ibero-American Cinema Platinum Award for best original music, and recepient of the artistic residency for young Latin American composers at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (USA) awarded by the UNESCO-Aschberg Foundation. He has also collaborated with Maestro Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic as a Video Editor and Stage Manager. He has a degree in Audiovisual Media and a master's degree in Post-Production at Bournemouth University in England.
